I drew her sona as a budgie. I always admired her sona's colour scheme, and I wanted to draw her something.

....She gets a lot of fan art. X_x....

I think she looks cute as an avian. Besides, I'm not too fond of canines. ^^'

Pictures of my bird Sam were used as a reference. Those pics are on my cellphone though. Colours were used of Ash's character reference sheets. A bit of artistic license was used to make Ash look more budgie-like.

Oh, and mostly all budgies have those cheek markings. I originally had black markings on the back and wings (another common budgie feature), but it didn't look to well. Besides, my bird Candy doesn't have those markings.
