Okay...I actually submitted something.... I sooooo did not want to post this....
In no way am I a professional...so just bear with me. This is some...cosplay for Kat of her character Kris from her novel "Dreaming of Another Day". I really liked her story...I was able to relate to some scenes in one way or another.
Her character is actually her, as her novel is based on her days growing up. So I'm cosplaying as Kat. X_x Sorta.
Kris was usually depicted in a white shirt, torn pants at the knees, and a leather jacket. I don't like leather and therefore do not own a leather jacket, so I used something similar I had which was just my plain black jacket. You can't see my pants in the pic, but yes, they are ripped at the knees, and no it was not intentional that I ripped them. She also has strawberry blonde hair and freckles...but I don't have freckles...no, not me.... >_>
So about the pic....
Kris tragically lost her love, and I couldn't help but think that sometimes Kris would just wander off to think and daydream.... This particular scene didn't happen in the story. But she's just thinking about a bunch of "what if" and "why" questions....
This was photographed at the park.

PLEASE do not use this as stock or for anything else, UNLESS you are KAT. Thank you....
I really like how it came out, I really didn't scout all the pics I took since I wasn't allowed to mess with it lol. Too bad you only posted one of the many pics~
You know if it was a Stargazer lily in her hand it would be just perfect. Love the pose by the way and I'm glad you liked the story so much.
As I said in your message to me, no worries about the jacket. Even if you had one it probably would not look right because that jacket was rather old and very tight with zippers up the arms and it snapped tight around the neck. The leather was tough enough to stop a switch blade so very expensive.
All in all it looks very good. And the freckles would be hard to pull off because they sprinkle my face across my nose and cheeks then all over my arms. Only way to pull that off is naturally.
I'm flattered that you decided to cosplay as Kris. Thank you for sharing it with me.

Note: Something that would help with the image is I just saw the poem at the beginning of the book off in the corner in a fancy script. The one that goes:
"Yesterday I buried my love, Today I bury myself, Tomorrow... Who can tell..."
I'll allow you to use that if you like the idea.
Well off to post more of Inside OuT.

We have a bunch of fake flowers, and I was disappointed to find out we didn't have a lily. I'll pick one up when we go to the craft store because I wanted to shoot a few scenes in the cemetery actually.
We were also talking about shooting some pics at my school in front of the lockers, and the scene where Kris flees to the bathroom and splashes her face with water and looks in the mirror (you did a drawing of it) to complete the series.
I'm really glad you liked the pics. I'll hopefully be posting more soon.
You uploaded something! I love the atmosphere.^^ All the colours have a simple but nice effect.

I think that poem will be great to use in the graveyard photos. I'll hopefully have the lily by then too. Or should I add it to this picture with the "subtitles" effect at the bottom?
Oh! And I found my light blue suit that looks a bit like the school uniform for Inside OuT. The color is a little bit off for the uniform, but I guess that can always be fixed with Photoshop!
I'll need a stripey tie...all I have are solid colours. T_T

I've seen people use a type of tape to add strips to things. It might work for the tie.
Not sure what to suggest for the uniform. *shrugs* Good luck to you.
